2017 PNAA LEADERSHIP FELLOWS PROGRAM2017 PNAA LEADERSHIP FELLOWS PROGRAMThe PNAA Leadership Fellows Program is opened to all PNAA members and supports the leadership development of Filipino descent in the United States. Through education and mentorship, the program serves as a vehicle to engage and empower nurses who seek high-level careers in leadership and management, education and research. The 2017 Fellowship runs from January 2017 through December 2017. Over the course of the year, Leadership Fellows will embark on a leadership journey to:
SeminarsThere will be a required face-to-face meeting that will be held in New York City (Date will be determined; all selected Fellows are expected to attend). Follow-up seminars will be held via GoToMeeting, A final celebration will take place in July 2018 during the PNAA Annual Convention. The program is directed by Reynaldo R. Rivera, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, FAAN and Joyce Fitzpatrick, PhD, RN, FAAN. Curriculum Topics:
ApplicationsApplications for the 2017 Fellowship are now available. CostPNAA will provide some assistance for each Fellow, for up to 4-5 Fellows per year, as funding is limited. Estimated cost: $2500 per leadership fellow.Roles and ResponsibilitiesOnce the Leadership Fellows complete the Fellowship Program, they will serve as coaches, mentors, committee chairs, and ambassadors of the Leadership program of PNAA. They will be role models and committed to serving others and the Filipino community. Application Requirements
